...what other names might we like?

I'm really struggling to fall in love with a girls name.

Our shortlist so far:
Ada
Ida
Maria
Lydia
Daisy
Molly
Nora/Norah
Dorothea
Evelina
Lucy
Ingrid
Cecily
Maeve

We like some quirky, vintage names as you can tell!

I like these names but I just can't fall in love with any of them! What's annoying me most is every time I start to really like a name, someone shares an opinion on them and it clouds my judgement on it. Or I think of a nickname that puts me off!

Thoughts? Any other suggestions?

Lovely names! My favourite is Cecily, it was on our list and I loved Cece as a nn. We had a son though.

LittleMouseontheDairy · 08/11/2018 21:46

It’s not particularly vintage but what about Saskia? I think it’s a great name - not too flowery and sounds quite dynamic yet also relatively soft. Plus Sass/ Sassy are lovely nn.

I love Imogen, Otterly/Ottilie (my best friend is called otterly so i cant use it even though i absolutely love it) Harriet,Arabella, Juniper (its a bit more out there but i liked it) or if you like the spices/herbs name themes those are normally quite cute and vintage sounding but kinda quirky too.
