Still browsing boy’s names and came across this... Thoughts?

Siblings are Aurora, Violet & Theo(dore) We’re having B/G twins and I think we’d ‘pair’ it with Penelope (which is in our final 3 shortlist) Thanks!

I love it! Also love the nn Sol.

Cosmoa · 04/11/2018 18:40

Really love it! ❤️

OhFlipMama · 04/11/2018 18:41

I like it but I first thought or running shoes! I doubt most people would though.

Sophronia · 04/11/2018 18:46

I love it. I know a really cool 19 year old Solomon “Sol”.

twinsrunmylife · 04/11/2018 18:49

I love it and Solomon and Penelope sound so good together

pixieloux · 04/11/2018 18:54

Thanks everyone!

I think Penelope & Solomon sounds great together too! I just wasn’t sure if it it really fits with our other children’s names? I guess it’s not the be all and end all though!

Our girl name options are Cecily and Beatrix. Other boy name options are Quentin and Zachary.

I think Penelope and Solomon are the best and I'd say they go nicely with the other children's names

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 04/11/2018 18:58

How about Saul as a name, rather than Sol as an abbreviation. I knew a Saul, he was very cool.

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 04/11/2018 18:58

I like Sebastien.

junebirthdaygirl · 04/11/2018 19:01

Know a grown up Solomon..great name . And Sol is so cute....go for it.

MikeUniformMike · 04/11/2018 19:07

The shoes are Salomon. I love Solomon and Sol.
Sebastians are everywhere and the name makes me think of seborrhoea (sp?). Quentin is a No. Zachary is popular.

WDYT Solomon Tadhg (Tige) & Penelope Cara or Róisín (Ro-Sheen)? I’m really falling in love with Solomon Tadhg!

Mishappening · 04/11/2018 19:59

Er...........is this Mrs Rees-Mogg? Grin

pixieloux · 04/11/2018 20:02

@Mishappening Afraid not - just someone whose fourth and final turned out to be numbers 4 and 5. Trust me, we’re still in shock and I’m 21 weeks now.

I really like the names Solomon and Penelope (and they’re the best from your other choices imo). I don’t like Solomon Tadhg though - I’m Irish but have an irrational dislike of the name Tadhg. I also don’t think Roisin ‘goes’ very well with Penelope. However, hardly anyone ever uses or remembers middle names so if you really like them I’d still use them.

hulabaloo · 07/11/2018 08:33

I'm not keen on Solomon, it reminds me solemn. And someone from the Bible.

I much prefer Quentin or Zachary.

minimausi · 07/11/2018 12:51

A bit too biblical for me. I prefer Quentin.
