Last post I promise......
Looking for a name for Noah's sibling.
Have written off all the other names on previous post for various reasons and don't want to end up overly biblical either and realise Caleb would be far too biblical.
But yesterday I came across the boys name Remy.
They seem to fit nicely together. Noah and Remy. And its different. As we have only met one other Noah since we named our son.
What do you all think?
Thanks again!

Remy is lovely

I prefer Caleb. Lots of people have Biblical names and you don't think anything of it. Remy is nice. Short for anything?

RavenWings · 03/11/2018 13:06

Tbqh I wouldn't peg Noah and Caleb as being an overly Biblical pair. If you had an Ezekiel and Ishmael, then that might be an issue. But Noah and Caleb are standard, popular names.

Remy is nice. I think most kids will know it from Ratatouille so it's not unusual in that sense. Both Caleb and Remy are solid options.

SallyWD Would just be Remy. I don't do longer names shortened. I firmly believe you should use the name you call them. Hence my son goes buy first and middle name 75% of the time.

I like caleb and Remy.
I only know of one Remi (spelt this way), but shes a 22 year old girl.

Remy is lovely. It's a full name, not short for anything, at least in France. Go for it!

DramaAlpaca · 03/11/2018 15:48

It's nice, as is Caleb.

I still think you should go with Rory Wink

firsttimemumma89 · 03/11/2018 15:57

DramaAlpaca Would love to go with Rory but the more I say it the more lispy it sounds!

I like Remy but it's more a girls name imo... sorry!

RahRahRooRah · 03/11/2018 18:04

It's a lovely name, but I only know it as a girls name
