Is Amelia overused?

Baby number 2 on its way. We never had a girls name for baby number 1, and we're having the same problem for number 2.

DH absolutely loves Olivia - I like it too, but we know at least 6 children with variations of it (Olivia, olive, liv etc). And my mum has a very strong London accent, in a non London area.. the name will constantly be Alivia or Livia.

I love Florence, DH isn't feeling it, no matter how much I've tried to influence it.

Me and DH both think Amelia is a nice enough name, I know it's in the top 10, which doesn't bother me too much.. we already have a George after all... but I was just wondering if it's overused in other people's opinions? Only because, I actually don't know a single other Amelia, even though it's classed as a popular name.

Also..

Amelia Rose R
Amelia Willow R
Amelia Florence R

How do they sound?

Emilia is nice.

Massively overused. As is Millie as a nickname.

I know it’s been top of the charts but I only know of one Amelia.

I don't know how it's meant to be in the top 5 names, my dd13 is called Amelia and she has always been the only one all those children nursery, primary and now at a very large secondary (1500) she is still only one of 4

Amelie is frightful. Amelia is nice. If you like it, go for it.

I like Amelia. I know of only one. It's a nice name.

Emilia is nice too. I'm less keen on Amelie.

I know five 😕

Amelia has become way overused imo. As had Olivia and Emily, Emilia, Millie etc. They will all soon sound dated imo.
