We like Phoebe, but know a couple already. Like the "F" sound though.

hahahhahahahhahahahhaha

As in felony?!?!

hahahhahahahahahahhaha

steppemum · 30/10/2018 15:05

Phelonie = felony
Phelan = felon

sorry, can't get past that.

GlasgowWorrier · 30/10/2018 15:06

Er, that legit website says that there were no Phelonies in nearly 6 million US registrations. It also offers a past life reading for an imaginary Phelonie born on April 3, 2005 and suggests that other 'names' internet randos were searching for include Mailto, Olatide and Odeida.

Name snobbery aside, it doesn't change the fact that Phelonie will be pronounced as Felony!

Phyllida? Phillippa? Phyllis?

Avegemitesandwich · 30/10/2018 15:08

Phelonie is phucking awful!

QuimReaper · 30/10/2018 15:08

Phucking hell

5000FingersofDrT · 30/10/2018 15:08

I genuinely LOLed at Phalonz

Is this in tribute to Phelan from Coronation Street, OP?

BarbaraofSevillle · 30/10/2018 15:09

Fiamma

Apologies if that is a real name and I have no idea if you were being serious, but that is a brand of accessories for camper vans (awnings, bike racks etc).

it might be a name in other countries, but unless you live there or have the appropriate heritage, it's probably not the best choice.

Beamur · 30/10/2018 15:09

Please don't.

pippa999 · 30/10/2018 15:10

OMG. You're kidding right ??? Grin

What about spud-u-like? Or Frogmella?

dontalltalkatonce · 30/10/2018 15:11

How about Phemale and you call her 'fee-molly'? Or L-a?

RatUnholyRolyPoly · 30/10/2018 15:12

Ehlani? Elenni? Frejdis/Freydis?

RatUnholyRolyPoly · 30/10/2018 15:12

NO to felony.

RatUnholyRolyPoly · 30/10/2018 15:12

Oh, and Elodie?

user34903583908 · 30/10/2018 15:16

I would have it pronounced

FEL OWN EE

with the emphasis on the middle syllable?

OP posts:
pippa999 · 30/10/2018 15:16

I quite like felaysheeo fanjington flapford.

Tistheseason17 · 30/10/2018 15:16

No to felony
and a huge no to Phelan or "feelin' good" as she will get called or can I have a "feel on your " from twatty teenagers.

Seriously, think about what it can be turned into

ACatsNoHelpWithThat · 30/10/2018 15:16

My first thought was "phlegm" too workreturner

How about Cheekyphucker?

pippa999 · 30/10/2018 15:17

pippa999 · 30/10/2018 15:18

Interesting first post by the way. Wink

user34903583908 · 30/10/2018 15:18

Should I spell it the French way?

félonie

OP posts:
DotForShort · 30/10/2018 15:18

What about Phanny? Grin

GraceMarks · 30/10/2018 15:19

OP, please, just stop. If you like the way Melodie sounds, just go for that, or Melanie. Phelonie will only ever be seen, and pronounced, as Felony. Which means a crime.

Alternatively, what about Phraud?

Monday55 · 30/10/2018 15:19

Phelonie isn't bad if you're gping to be migrating to a non English speaking country. Otherwise I wouldn't use it....

Mummyoflittledragon · 30/10/2018 15:19

Phelonie is ridiculous as say Phanny. I do like some of the real names.

GraceMarks · 30/10/2018 15:20

Oh, I see. You actually are joking. Nice trolling, OP.
