Does this middle name work?

Liking Greta. Freda/Frida/Freida is a family middle name I would like to use but not sure if it works??

Pros - both have a scandi/germanic sound and are of a similar style.

Cons - does having both names end in 'a' sound weird?

I think it does sound slightly odd with the A sound, but I think it's more odd with the way the E is pronounced differently (I assume) between Greta and Freda, which look so similar. Frieda would be my first "natural" spelling, but as you've pointed out, there are several spellings. I really like Frieda. I prefer it to Greta.

Could you pop another mn in? Greta Evelyn Freida?

I love them both, but as pp said they sound better with a middle name in betweeb

Could you lengthen one or both names, e.g. Margaretta Alfreda, known as Greta?
