Nova, Ezri, Mika?

For a girl. Which one do you prefer?

Are they actually names? I don’t know any kids named any of them.

Isn't Ezri a boy's name? I know only two Ezris and they're both male. Mika makes me thing of Micah, which is a boy's name. Nova for me just sounds like the old car or the Spanish for 'it doesn't go'. Also I'm not keen on names meaning 'new' - they date badly.

Out of the wealth of names available to call a human being who has to make their way in the world, meeting people, building relationships, getting jobs etc the best thing you can come up with is this trio of terrible?

Not a huge fan of any of them tbh but Nova is probably the best. I do love Nora which is similar

I prefer Luna to Nova and agree with others about the names being more male than female.

None. Mika & Ezri sounds like boys names to me & Nova is a car.

I really like Mika - prefer it pronounced mee-kah (sounds better for a girl) rather than My-kah (which sounds more masculine)
Also know a girl who spells it Mica.

How about Michaela? Then you can call her Mika for short

I know a baby Nova, who is utterly lovely. And a Mieke (said Mee-kah) who is also utterly lovely

Emrick IS really nice and my favorite, but it is a boy's name; it's not the feminine of Ezra. Just so you know. It's a contemporary Israeli version of the name. Of the other two I prefer Nova to Mika. In Mika all I hear is Meek. I like stronger names for girls.

Nova is the only one which isn't masculine to me, so I guess that one.

I knew a female Mika when I was at school, she’ll be a doctor now. She was Indian. I wouldn’t choose Nova as I’d always think of the car or Ezri as it looks like Ezra gone wrong.
