For DS due in 12 weeks. Jude or Finley/Finn?

Interested to hear other names you think I may like too!

I don't like Jude at all and Finn/Finley nn Fin are very popular.
Congratulations and good luck with your baby. You have ages to go so I'm sure MN will come up with some ideas.

I much prefer Flynn to Finn/Finlay - the latter is very overused.

himym · 21/10/2018 20:18

Jude is better than Finn IMO.

Nellyelora · 21/10/2018 20:18

I prefer Finley

ogglet · 21/10/2018 20:20

Too many Finley / Finlay's.. Jude gets my Vote!

outreach29 · 21/10/2018 20:22

Jude

(although I like Finn as well)

YouBoggleMyMind · 21/10/2018 20:22

Finley (bias as my DS is called Finley with nn Fin )

Shadow1234 · 21/10/2018 20:23

Jude

Eleanor90 · 21/10/2018 20:24

I love Jude. Also love Flynn as suggested.

Joss? Sorley? Finbar?

Peachbubble · 21/10/2018 20:29

Finn (rather than Finley). Not keen on Jude.

moredoll · 22/10/2018 02:26

Jude

CallMeRachel · 22/10/2018 02:31

Both names are very feminine imo

I dislike Jude. I like the sound of the name Finley but hate that spelling of it, Finlay for a boy is much better I think.

Sophronia · 22/10/2018 03:01

Jude

BasiliskStare · 22/10/2018 03:14

I think Rory is nice. Finbar always reminds me of Viz - Finbar Saunders and his double entendres - but then I am of a certain age so I suspect no one else would even think of it. I would prefer Finley / or even better Finlay or Finn to Jude..... Jolyon?

Sungura · 22/10/2018 05:24

Finley/Finlay. I also like Flynn and Flint.

Friolero · 22/10/2018 05:37

I prefer Jude

ButterflyOfFreedom · 22/10/2018 06:26

Finley

alwayscrashinginthesamecar1 · 22/10/2018 06:44

Jude,but I like both.

BigusBumus · 22/10/2018 08:04

I much prefer Jude. Finley is ok but there are millions of them. Jolyon like a pp suggested is great (it's pronounced Jol-yon not Jolly-on) but Jolly for a nn. What about Miles?

Polkasq · 22/10/2018 08:24

I prefer Jude.

I don't like Finley.

Cbeebiesrehab · 22/10/2018 10:47

Jude is my sons name so id obviously choose that. Only ever taught one Jude (who had a brother named Finlay actually)
I think the fact I once had 3 Finlay/Finns in a class makes me think it’s more popular than it is? I do prefer Flynn.

starkid · 22/10/2018 17:09

I like Finlay, spelt that way not with an e
