Hello all,
I'm a single mum of twins- Jasper and Elsie and a newborn baby girl due tomorrow.
I like unusual names and unusual spellings too
I like the names-
Esmèe/ Esmay/ Esmè
Riley/ Ryliee
Tiffani/ Tiffany
Cleo
Cally/ Callie

Pleaseee give me your opinions

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
chasingsushi · 21/10/2018 16:15

Congratulations! I love Cleo and Callie.

sunshineNdaisies · 21/10/2018 16:19

go for the proper spellings at least

I like esme but it's too close to your existing girl's name

IVflytrap · 21/10/2018 16:19

Cleo is my favourite, followed by Callie.

I like Tiffany, although most people will consider it dated.

Dislike Esme - there are so many baby Esmees these days. I dislike Riley because it sounds like the name of a 20 year old man. Ryliee will mean she will have to spell her name out every time she gives it for the rest of her life. It gets tiring.

Peachbubble · 21/10/2018 16:20

Yep, I like Cleo and Callie best too

Aprilislonggone · 21/10/2018 16:21

Esmae.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/10/2018 16:54

Cleo.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 21/10/2018 16:56

Cleo is perfect. Congratulations!

Muddlingalongalone · 21/10/2018 16:57

I think Cleo goes very well with your twins names. Not too samey sounding but not to different either.

IzzyGrey · 21/10/2018 16:58

Jasper and Elsie are gorgeous! But I really don't like your new girls names, I dont think they can stand next to 2 such great names.

Esmèe/ Esmay/ Esmè - horrible! Was probably nice a decade ago when it was uncommon but has got really down-market
Riley/ Ryliee - awful and the second spelling is really bad
Tiffani/ Tiffany - stripper name, especially with the 'i'
Cleo - the only one i quite like
Cally/ Callie - this doesn't seem complete

What about something else sweet and vintage to go with the Jasper and Elsie? Mabel? Pearl? Ivy? Iris?

finallychangedmyusername · 21/10/2018 17:10

Cleo, with Callie as a close second.

himym · 21/10/2018 17:17

Esme and Cleo are both lovely.
I find Riley and any variation of it to be overused.
Tiffany (spelt like this) is okay.
Not keen on Callie at all.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 21/10/2018 17:36

Sorry to disapoint thee but Esme isn't
unusual. Still nice though. Provided it's pronounce Esmay and not Esmee
Same with Riley . Thats far from Unusual.
Tiffany is very differebt for a little girl now as is Callie.
Alternative unusal spellings for your
names.
Esmai. Esmay.
Rilee. Ryleigh. Rylee. Rilegh Rylie
Tiffani. Tiphani Tiphany.
Calli.Cali. Callee. Calleigh

Shadow1234 · 21/10/2018 17:43

Love your other childrens names by the way - Elsie is one of my all time favourites.
Callie would be my pick from your list ( not keen on the others)

HouseOnTheLake · 21/10/2018 17:57

I love Cally, Callie or Cali

daisypond · 21/10/2018 18:12

Esmèe/ Esmay/ Esmè - this is quite popular these days. The accents are on back to front on the ones you've put the accents on. I'm not keen. It's too bland.

Riley/ Ryliee -first one is maybe OK for a boy, not a girl

Tiffani/ Tiffany - yes, if spelled as Tiffany. It's a medieval name and quite unusual these days. Original form is Theophania, which is very unusual.

Cleo -yes

Cally/ Callie - Callie, if short for something longer. It's too bland otherwise. Callista?

Cosmoa · 21/10/2018 18:57

Love Cleo the most and also love Callum but prefer the spelling Kali

StripyDeckchair · 21/10/2018 19:03

How about Calista or Callisto, nickname Callie/Calie? Really unusual. A cool link with Greek mythology (though not the happiest story - but none of the Greek myths are!) In the story is becomes a constellation of stars at the end.

Cheeseplantandpickle · 21/10/2018 19:06

What stripy said.

EvieV28 · 21/10/2018 19:08

Love Riley for a girl but I'd use the normal spelling

StripyDeckchair · 21/10/2018 19:11

Sorry she becomes a constellation.

Can also be spelt Kallisto but I like the C spelling better.

Cbeebiesrehab · 21/10/2018 19:15

I think Cleo is beautiful. Quite like Callie too. I think both go well with your existing children’s names.

mothertobe789 · 21/10/2018 19:18

Love the name Callie

flumpybear · 21/10/2018 19:21

Tiffany is an elegant name - don't spell it with an i though that makes it naff

Please use proper spellings - they look so dreadful when spelling is cre8tiv read crap and chav

DC2018 · 21/10/2018 19:30

I like Cleo best. Calliope is cool though with the nickname Callie x

nocluenoidea · 21/10/2018 23:24

Jasper and Elsie are such lovely names but I really don't like any of your potential names for the new baby.
The alternative spellings look tacky :(. Esme is okay but probably too close to Elsie.
What about similar names to Elsie like Ivy?
