What is Hugh's brother called?

Expecting DC2, have plenty of girls names but stuck on boys. DS1 is Hugh.

Boys names we like but can't use:

Edward (because of the newsreader )
Toby (DH hates it)
Alistair (too similar to my name)
Henry (don't want the same initials
William (nephew)
George (nephew)
Thomas (DH)

We actually both like Felix, but worried it sounds like a cat/he might hate it when he's older. Should we just say sod it, we like it so we're using it?

Clever mumsnet came up with Hugh, which I'd never considered but LOVE now, so hoping you can come up trumps again!

Love the name Hugh, and you've already said you like both of my DS's names, so think we have similar taste. The name I couldn't persuade DH on was Murray, which I also love and think goes well with Hugh.

Lawrence. No question.

#TeamLaurence

Though, there is a source / reference for this association, in the person of Hugh Laurie. That wouldn't stop me using them as names for two different boys. Might do as first and middle name for the same one.

Wilf or Rafe

I like Robin, Andrew, Timothy or Dominic to go with Hugh.

Definitely not Victor - too close to "Victor Hugo"

CaseStudyResearch · 21/10/2018 23:20

I think Marcus and Dominic go really well.

Joseph would also work really well, I like it with the nn Jos as well as the obvious.

Just incase it turns out to be a sister, Hugh and Tabitha.
