A name like Max

I have always adored the name Max but it is a compete and unchanging no from my DH  has anyone got any suggestions of a similar kind of name I could fall in love with? I thought about Rex, but it just doesn't seem the same :( all suggestions welcome x

Definitely Zac, I know a pair of brothers who are Max and Zac.

Oooh I love Ike (short for Isaac) and Zac, and Ace!!
Thanks everyone, some great suggestions.

The more I think about Zac the more I like it. Is it very popular now though?

I really wanted Max for DS2 but it just didn’t sound right with our surname, we settled on Zach in the end as it’s a similar vibe.
