Thoughts on this name? Would you prefer it for a boy or a girl?

It's not my cup of tea but nothing against it either. I'd say it's unisex.

Definitely unisex. I quite like it, but it’s better spelled Perry, Peri looks like a suffix.

Not suffix, prefix. Like in peri menopause.

I see it as a girls name, but would spell Perrie.

I know a female Peri short for Perihan (pronounced Perry-harn) - it’s a Turkish name.

There’s also Perrie Edwards, the one direct singer. I think that’s the best spelling for a girl as a stand alone name.

To me, Perrie = female; Perry = male

I know a little girl Perry but it's not my cup of tea for either.

I also immediately thought of Kevin and Perry. So if I heard the name, I’d assume it was for a boy. Not a great association.

I would spell it Perrie for a girls name (Peri or Perri just looks wrong).

Think I prefer it as a girls name.

For a girl it’s makes me think of Peri Brown, but i think it was short for Perpugilliam.

We’re doctor who fans so Peri immediately makes me think of peri brown from the 6th doctor stories. According to him a Peri was a ‘ good and beautiful fairy, but before becoming good it was evil.’ 😃

Perry is clearly a secret agent name. ‘Agent P’ the platypus.

Makes me think of Peri Gilpin - loved her in Frasier.

I had a boy last year and named him Perry. We've had lots of compliments his name. I'm very happy with my choice!
