Reminds me of Jung's theory, the female version of Oedipus etc. Though I imagine not everyone would make this connection it does put me off a little, as does the fact it sounds like electricity. Someone may love it though, names are funny old things!

TweenageAngst · 17/10/2018 20:41

A bit "adult entertainment star" for me

RebeccaCloud9 · 17/10/2018 20:43

Yeah, stripper name

NonaGrey · 17/10/2018 20:44

I’m afraid Aeschylus spoiled it for me... she plots to kill her mother.

ReginaPhalange89 · 17/10/2018 20:47

Sorry but it just sounds like a porn star /stripper name

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 17/10/2018 20:49

Stripper name, sorry!

WildFlower2018 · 17/10/2018 20:52

I read it as etcetera at first 😳

JosellaPlayton · 17/10/2018 20:53

This is what the family called DD whilst she still in utero! We discussed it as a potential middle name but ultimately decided it was too ridiculous to use.

ragged · 17/10/2018 21:01

I went to school with one. Nice, blonde, friendly, clever, artistic, sweet. Nothing sordid at all.

unlurk85 · 17/10/2018 21:02

We know one, she's Greek and a delight!

BruegelTheElder · 17/10/2018 21:18

Stripper

Eleanor90 · 17/10/2018 21:31

I like it 😳

Eleanor90 · 17/10/2018 21:31

The Italian version Elettra might go down a bit better in real life though

DuckofDoom · 17/10/2018 23:42

I think of Carmen Electra and the Electra Complex, neither of which are brilliant associations

IzzyGrey · 18/10/2018 05:19

I don't like it. And what if people call her 'leccy'?

Littlepond · 18/10/2018 05:36

I also think of the Electra Complex.

Polkasq · 18/10/2018 07:56

I think it's great.
