Middle name for Everly

SuperVeggie · 16/10/2018 21:51

She will be Evie for short. Don't want to give full surname here but it will be double-barrelled and both surnames are one syllable e.g. Moore-Holmes

Please no comments telling me that Everly is a bad choice/too common/too weird etc etc!

So far we have thought of:

Everly Grace
Everly Winter (due in winter)
Everly Ava
Everly Freya
Everly Scarlett
Everly May
Everly Alice
Everly Anna
Everly Charlotte

Open to other suggestions! Also possibly to having two middle names (me and DH both have two) but aware that it might be too much with the double-barrelled surname which we don't have. Thanks!

Everly Grace sounds beautiful. Has the best flow out of all the names mentioned.

WhenEnoughIsEnough · 16/10/2018 21:56

I like everly winter the best. Also everly is a lovely name.

Shadow1234 · 16/10/2018 21:56

Everly Rae/Rai ?

peachgreen · 16/10/2018 21:58

I think you need a one-syllable with a double-barrelled surname so I like Grace best and then May (though I might spell it Mae). Looooooove Everly. Love love love. Wish I'd had it on my list.

turquoise88 · 16/10/2018 21:59

I love Everly Grace. I have an Evelyn Grace .

You'll get lots of people who come along and say that Grace is too popular, but like any popular name it's popular because it's a nice name and not too try hard. I'd go with it ☺️

EvieV28 · 16/10/2018 22:00

Winter sounds best, lovely name.

SuperVeggie · 16/10/2018 22:02

Forgot to say that if we go with May then it will be spelt May rather than Mae as it is a family name

Everly winter is lovely.

FogCutter · 16/10/2018 22:06

I think a one syllable middle name works best.

Everly Grace is lovely.

purpleme12 · 16/10/2018 22:09

Ok I'm a bit jealous I don't have another baby to have to call this name actually. I'm a bit in love with the babe Everly. Everly Rai. Everly Mai.

peachgreen · 16/10/2018 22:13

May is good too.

SuperVeggie · 16/10/2018 22:14

Thanks, I did originally think that one syllable would sound best. But then wasn't sure if it would sound too 'heavy' with two single syllable surnames? And whether 3-2-1-1 would make it sound a bit lighter than 3-1-1-1? (If that makes sense!)

That should say in love with the NAME Everly!

Everly Joy
Everly Jayne
Everly Kate

Aquamarine1029 · 17/10/2018 01:23

Grace. 100%

Wherearemycarkeys · 17/10/2018 03:37

Definitely Grace! And I don't usually like Grace as a middle name as it sounds like a filler but with Everly it's lovely

HJL2506 · 17/10/2018 10:22

I love Everly! It was top choice for us but we are expecting DS2 anyway now!

HJL2506 · 17/10/2018 10:22

Any day^

SuperVeggie · 18/10/2018 15:57

Thanks everyone. Looks like Grace and Winter are front runners...
I have worried that Grace is a bit of a 'filler' middle name, a bit like Jane used to be when I was young (no offence to anyone!). But I do like it.

I'm now wondering about Everly Winter Grace... a lot of names. But I think I like it?
