DD due in the next month, we have decided on the first name Harriet. We are however stuck between 2 middle names so looking for opinions! They both have sentimental/family meaning behind them so can’t use that as a decider! We have a 1 syllable surname.

Harriet Kayla
Or
Harriet Robyn

Opinions welcome!

Robyn! Harriet and Robyn are both pretty and classic. Kayla is dated and a bit naff. I haven't watched Home and Away for years but for some reason I imagine a Home and Away character when I hear Kayla.

FogCutter · 14/10/2018 11:39

Robyn by a mile.

I love Harriet Robyn - both feminine and strong.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/10/2018 11:43

I dislike Robyn, so Harriet Kayla.

RavenWings · 14/10/2018 11:44

Another one who doesn't like Robyn (wet imo) so going for Kayla.

StuntCroissant · 14/10/2018 11:49

Robyn.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 14/10/2018 11:53

Harriet Robyn is lovely

Argeles · 14/10/2018 11:54

Why don’t you use both names?

Harriet Kayla Robyn.

I think that looks and sounds very distinctive, and both names clearly have an importance to you.

Definitely Robyn.

Robyn 100%
Kayla and Harriet are really different styles imo and sound weird together.

piggie88 · 14/10/2018 18:54

I love Harriet but it’s my husband’s niece’s name so we couldn’t use it. I also really love Robyn but we couldn’t use it as a first name so it’s our daughter’s middle name. Harriet Robyn is a beautiful name.

I prefer the name Robyn to Kayla but think that Harriet Robyn is a little bit R heavy. Agree that Harriet Kayla Robyn would be good.

Robyn, by miles. Kayla is a real clash with Harriet.
