We are expecting a little girl soon and have whittled it down to these two. I can't decide! What's your preference?

Clementine 100%. Not keen on Fleur because of how it sounds.

Cbeebiesrehab · 13/10/2018 09:15

Fleur because I don’t like the diminutive Clemmie

SpottingTheZebras · 13/10/2018 09:17

Clementine but I do think it is becoming increasingly popular just in case that is something you want to avoid.

Nellyelora · 13/10/2018 11:30

I love Fleur

DramaAlpaca · 13/10/2018 11:32

Clementine is gorgeous.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/10/2018 12:42

Both are lovely but I slightly prefer Fleur

MikeUniformMike · 13/10/2018 12:50

Fleur

matley · 13/10/2018 12:53

Not too keen on either but would probably say Fleur.

Shadow1234 · 13/10/2018 14:04

Prefer fleur, I also dont like clemmie as a nn. (and clementine reminds me of a small orange!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 13/10/2018 15:25

Clementine. Fleur is dreadful. Fleurgh.

honeyskye · 13/10/2018 15:27

Yeah fleur is a name with a nice meaning but not the pleasantest sound. However,
fleur x1000 times over clementine!

Sophronia · 13/10/2018 15:59

Clementine

TatianaLarina · 13/10/2018 16:56

Prefer Clemmency.

I like the nn Clemmie either way.

LittleFilly · 13/10/2018 16:58

Clementine is lovely. Not so keen on Fleur, although quite like Flora as an alternative Smile

CaMePlaitPas · 13/10/2018 17:00

Clementine is my favourite but I think it's a bit too cutesy for a middle-aged woman, but I guess she could shorten to Em?

claracluck78 · 13/10/2018 17:02

Clementine is the name one of my DSs would have had had he been a girl. Beautiful name! (The other would have been Beatrice)

Disfordarkchocolate · 13/10/2018 17:02

I've always like Clementine, and Columbine (my favourite flower fairy).

Icklepup · 13/10/2018 17:03

Clementine!!

PippilottaLongstocking · 13/10/2018 17:06

Clementine!! Fleur is lovely too but I prefer names with a bit more substance personally. I’m a big fan of hard consonants in names

userabcname · 13/10/2018 17:18

Clementine definitely

teastorm · 13/10/2018 17:22

I think Fleur is becoming much more popular nowadays. However Clementine is extremely popular in upper-middle/upper class circles.

catenthusiast · 13/10/2018 17:23

Clementine is lovely!

NKFell · 13/10/2018 18:22

I love Clementine. I knew a Clementine at school and she got ‘T’. She was lovely so that’s probably influenced my opinion!

IAcceptCookies · 13/10/2018 21:04

Clementine.

Fleur sounds like someone throwing up.
