Honestly?! They’re all excellent names for a new kitten. I wouldn’t give any of them to a human baby.

Never heard of the name Binx and don't like it at all. Monty is ok, the other boys names aren't my taste.

I like Stella and Hazel off your girls list. Farah is ok. Hate Nova and Athena. The only Tate I know is a boy.

Tate to me is a boys name.

Not keen on any of the boys names but Hazel and Stella are ok for the girls.

Genuine question, are you naming a dog or a boy? If it's a boy, Sylvester or Emmett with slight preference for Emmett, but I don't love either. If it's a dog, Binx and Monty are both cute.

I do like Stella. Hazel and Athena are okay. Nova and Tate are truly awful. Farah depends on your ethnic background, I think.

Your boy’s list isnt really my style (especially Binx, which is truly awful!) but I do quite like Emmett.

Love Athena and Hazel. Stella is meh. Not keen on Nova (sounds like a product), Farrah or Tate.

Binx is god awful.

Emmett and Sylvester are my favourites of your boys list, but I think we have pretty different tastes...

Stella is the best of the girls options but it does make me think of the beer and streetcar, so wouldn't be one I'd use personally.

Binx- no! Also rhymes with 'stinks' and kids are mean!

Farrah/Farah - nice sounding but reminds me of this horrible American reality TV girl (from Teen Mom or something) who is occasionally in the news for making sex tape or drunkenly brawling
Hazel - beautiful!
Nova - magical
Stella - half of me adores it but a small part of me imagines an East end barmaid from the sixties wearing a leopard print skirt and low cut top
Tate - I know a girl with this name and it's quite cool actually, but there's so many beautiful names out there for girls that it feels a shame to use this one

How about Boone for a boy? With the middle name binx? Boone binx has a ring to it..

Binx--are you serious? Monty and Emmett aren't much better. Sylvester is OK.

Athena, Farrah/Farah, Hazel and Stella are fine.
Nova is silly. Tate is a boy's name.

I'm not sure if your lists are a wind up 😬 if not, I'm sorry but I don't really 'like' any very much - although we're all different. Tate for a boy would be nice. If it's for a human baby are you open to suggestions of different names? If it's a cat or dog you're naming the list is fine.

All too posh for my liking OP, but I am very working class, they’re names I’d give to a cat. The only one that’s nice is Hazel. Tate at a push for a boy but definitely not a girl.

I don’t like any of your boys names but Binx is truly awful! You can’t possibly call a human being Binx!

Tate is a boys name to me.

I like Hazel and Stella although I really prefer Estella

Well you asked for honest...

The boys' names are horribly "try hard", pretentious and "we're soooo different". With the exception of Emmett, but thay just makes me think of the Lego Movie ;)

The girls' names are slightly better but still a bit eye-roll-inducing with the exceptions of Hazel, Stella and maybe Farrah.

Honest opinion;
Binx- wtf NO! Is it even a name. Imagine a full grown man having to introduce himself as Binx, or a teenage boy for that matter. Just cruel.

Emmett - lovely name
Monty - also a lovely name, both suit a man or boy
Sylvester - it's a no from me, I mean at least it is a name and the only reason I don't like it is I don't like the style so if you love it I'd go for it.

Athena - it's okay, a bit try hard
Farah - just makes me think of Teen Mom
Hazel - lovely, truly lovely name
Nova - I like it but I think it's a bit too popular now
Stella - I like it in theory, like the stars but it alway reminds me of the larger
Tate - to me it's a boys name as someone else said

Only Emmett of the boys. Binx is absurd. Rabbits do binx when they're happy, it's a rabbit happy dance!
All the girls names are fine. I like Farrah and Hazel best.

Stella and hazel are great. Others either ‘old’ or just odd. Binx really not great but I don’t know any -sometimes that can help with achingly ‘striving’ names.
