Max?

What do people think of the name Max for a little brother for Leo? I've seen it's quite popular over the last 10 years, especially when you factor in all the different long versions that likely go by Max too, but it still wouldn't have been top 10 at any point. So not SUPER popular. I think I love it.

I like it and it goes well with Leo

It's an excellent name!

It's fine, and does 'go' with Leo. Only downside is that if you call him in the park you might find a few dogs come running - it's one of the most popular dog names. (We had one).

Love it and it matches Leo perfectly.

It's a brilliant name.

They go very nicely together, so nicely in fact that I know of four sets of brothers called Max and Leo, and I've got 50p riding on a fifth! Seems such a popular combination.

Love it.

Was top of our list however really doesn't go with DPs surname that starts with M. 😔

Oh no! Now I feel so unoriginal! You're not in SE England are you?

No, OP, I'm in Scotland. They are lovely together, so rather than thinking it's unoriginal, just think of it as sharing excellent taste!

Don't be put off if you love it. I have twins, and when they had their first check-up with the GP, he told me there were two other sets of twins with the same names registered at the practice (different surnames, obvs). One set was just a year older than mine, and we shared a health visitor, who introduced us and the other mum even lent me her old double-buggy till I got my own. I've never seen her since, or even thought of her until this thread, and I've never come across the others although it's a very small town. So follow your heart!

I also know siblings called max and leo. The names sound great together and have a similar feel, that's why.
