Alexander, George or Harry

As much as I love Alexander (full title) I find the Nn Alex abit wet.

George sounds stronger then Alex imo but I know it's very common.

I like Harry also but maybe doesn't go aswell with our surname.

What do you prefer?

Love Alexander but if you don't like the nn then maybe go for George

Sophronia · 04/10/2018 10:12

Alexander is my favourite. I don’t think Alex is wet.

Eminybob · 04/10/2018 10:13

You could use nn Xander if you don’t like Alex

LJFM2B · 04/10/2018 10:16

If you want to go something less "used" go for Alexander ... but to be honest i love them all!

Fashionista101 · 04/10/2018 10:17

I like George best Smile

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2018 10:17

I'd go for George, it's a good, strong name.

bridgetreilly · 04/10/2018 12:51

Xander, Xan, even Ali are all possible. If you like Alexander, use it.

E20mom · 04/10/2018 12:52

George

shirleyschmidt · 04/10/2018 12:56

Don't like Alexander or Alex, and I prefer non-unisex names, so that would definitely be my third choice!
Love both Harry and George, for me George probably has the edge.

ReginaPhalange89 · 04/10/2018 14:38

I think George and Harry are as common as each other nowadays. Both lovely though ! Of the 3 my favourite is George

I actually quite like Alex ! But if you're not keen maybe not Alexander

BlueChampagne · 04/10/2018 14:38

I love Alexander. You could use Sandy as a nickname.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 04/10/2018 14:46

George. Alexander is ok but I don't like Alex. Prefer Henry to Harry.

Sunflower321 · 04/10/2018 17:32

All very common around here, but if I had to choose, probably Alexander

EyeRolls · 04/10/2018 17:38

Harry George Alexander works lovely as a name and he can choose when he's older!

n0ne · 04/10/2018 17:40

I'm sick to death of Alex (plus it's my evil BIL's name so I really hate it). I really like George.

DC18 · 04/10/2018 17:52

I know two Alexanders. One goes by Xander and the other Alec rather than Alex. Its definitely my favourite name out of the three x

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2018 19:09

Love Alec as a stand alone name.😄

BertramKibbler · 04/10/2018 19:10

George is such a wet name

LethalWhite · 07/10/2018 20:12

Harry>Alexander>George

Henry is better than any though

DragonGoby · 07/10/2018 20:15

Alexander is my favourite.

Dosmamas · 07/10/2018 21:22

I like Alexander, it's a very versatile name so he will end up with a few good nicknames as he gets older which seems to be inevitable with boys. Al, Alex, Lex, Xander. These are all names I've heard my friend Alexander being called. It's actually in my partners and I's shortlist.

I'm not a fan of George, I hear it and Harry so often on the playground. Nice names but so popular at the minute.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 07/10/2018 21:23

I think George is wet. Alexander.

LeeMiller · 08/10/2018 06:15

George sounds wetter than Alex to me.

They're all nice names.

Sasha is my favourite nickname for Alexander.

Conseulabananahammock · 08/10/2018 06:20

My youngest is George . So I'm pretty biased :)
