Or maybe you’re a twin parent and have had to do this for real. I’m obsessed with thinking about baby names at the moment (not helped by trawling these boards) and would love to name twins!

For girls I’d go Astrid and Frankie.

For boys hmmm haven’t given it much thought as I find boy names so hard but I’ll say Gene and Jet (Jethro).

What names would you choose?

This isn’t about slating the names choices of others Smile

Surprised to see Francis cropping up a few times. In reality if I had a DS this would be his name. Also Genevieve seems to be popular, love it so much but don’t like the nn Gen or Evie.

Jesmond and Jarrow

I think they'd be boys

AhoyDelBoy · 03/10/2018 20:57

@ZebraKid71

Francesca and Terese
Edward and Francis

We obviously have the same taste in names Smile Frankie would be short for Francesca, if we ever have a DS he’ll probably be Francis and I love Edward nn Ted (family names)

I’ve got twin girls. When I was pregnant we had about a zillion combinations, and I specifically didn’t want them matching, and I have a very traditional DH. But.....my fantasy twins would be:

Farrah and Persis
Octavia and Penelope
Persephone and Calliope (Sephie or possible Posy and Callie) - this was my favourite

Boys:
Arlo and Otto
Rufus and inigo

Crunchymum · 03/10/2018 21:09

I've used all my fave names for my actual DC but I would probably go for

Finn and Elliot
Jean and Winifred

littlebillie · 03/10/2018 21:14

Arlo and Trent

Melody and Gretchen

My (imaginary) twin girls are (currently - and subject to change) called April and Bonnie. But they are actually triplets - they have a brother named Kit.

Jude and Kit
