Is Arlo appropriate or another too baby name? Will by the time all the albie's etc grow up it would be coming to have a name like that at 15?
Arlo is the only name we can settle on for a little boy!

I like it. It's a nice name, heard of but not mega-popular. And you both like it, so go for it!

Kt2108 · 03/10/2018 12:03

I meant common!! Can't even type!
Haha thank you- it's the only one I can kind of imagine. Boys names are HARD

getting more popular- i think it ages well

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 03/10/2018 13:40

I like Arlo.

MrsGB2225 · 03/10/2018 13:41

I know an Arlo, lovely little boy!

MadisonAvenue · 03/10/2018 13:42

I really like it, it suits all ages.

Notquiteagandt · 03/10/2018 13:44

I love arlo. Was on my boys name list. It is very popular though if you wanted something unusual.

DC18 · 03/10/2018 13:44

I think it's grown a lot in popularity the last few years but still isn't very common. Although tbh it may be a very 2017-2019 trendy name in the future. Although my name is Danielle and i dont mind that its obvious i was born late 80s early 90s lol x

tartanscot · 03/10/2018 13:45

It's okay, I know quite a few under 4 now.

TeaForDad · 03/10/2018 13:46

I have a netgear Arlo cctv....

BertramKibbler · 03/10/2018 13:46

Bing’s cat friend 🐈

Reallywanttogotobednow · 03/10/2018 13:50

Yup, I was coming on to say that it's the cat in Bing ("he's purring like Arlo" being my DD's reaction to any animal noise short of Barking).

Reallywanttogotobednow · 03/10/2018 13:51

(Not sure why my phone capitalised "barking")

Mountainsided · 03/10/2018 13:52

I like it. Names will always pin you to a generation, so just go for it

ClaudiaWankleman · 03/10/2018 13:54

It sounds like a Pokémon to me

BillywigSting · 03/10/2018 13:57

I like it. I have positive associations with it though as I know a lovely man with the name in his 30s but I can see it being just as good on a baby/child

ZebraKid71 · 03/10/2018 16:09

I like it, but I live in Yorkshire and the pronunciation isn't great in our accent!

Cosmoa · 03/10/2018 19:25

Here you go... 46 in the top 100 last year. So I imagine it'll be even higher by next year's stats.

Here's the link where I found the info www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-45559619

Arlo
