Hi all Grin we are due our baby (we haven't found out the gender) on 24 December Smile

Is there any Christmas themed baby names out there? Would love to see what I think of a few as it's a nice idea for a little Christmas baby [santa]

Aside from Holly I seem to be drawing a blank!!

Noelle for a girl is really lovely.

Blanca = white; less harsh-sounding than Bianca (in my v humble opinion)

Santa for a girl, isn't Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's sister called Santa?

Bailey - boy or girl (my favourite Christmas tipple)

Jack = Jack Frost at the window pane.

Frosty Grin

Douglas = fir, Christmas tree.

I'm having fun with this! We have a Christmas child and am now wishing we'd given him a Christmas name!

Congratulations Flowers

I know people born on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Stuart, Sarah, Darrell and Joanne. You don't have to have a Christmas name for a Christmas baby.

ChaosMoon · 30/09/2018 09:04

Love some of these! If you really want a Christmas theme though, Meredith means Protector of the sea. It's not a variation on Merry / Mary. ☺

Seren (meaning star) is a lovely one.

junebirthdaygirl · 30/09/2018 09:06

Holly
Mary
Joseph
Beth ( Bethlehem!!)

JuteBag · 30/09/2018 09:08

Nollaig (pronounced, roughly, NULL-ig) is Irish for Christmas, and is a unisex name, though admittedly it’s a long time since I’ve heard it used for a boy.

tatim · 30/09/2018 09:09

@TroysMammy of course you don't have to have a Christmas themed name for a Christmas baby - that's why I said it's a nice idea! Smile

BertramKibbler · 30/09/2018 09:55

Don’t do it. They’ll hate you enough for giving them a Christmas birthday without having a themed name to match. Middle name if you must, but not first name!

CurlsandCurves · 30/09/2018 09:56

Sorry, ‘dinnerladies’ joke.

Ticcinalong · 30/09/2018 10:04
