Hi all Grin we are due our baby (we haven't found out the gender) on 24 December Smile

Is there any Christmas themed baby names out there? Would love to see what I think of a few as it's a nice idea for a little Christmas baby [santa]

Aside from Holly I seem to be drawing a blank!!

Holly!

I think gently festive names are lovely. Also love month names for children born in those months - April, May, June etc.

My DD was born Christmas Eve and we gave her the middle name Eve.

Celyn means holy in Welsh, but it's more traditionally a boys name. (It's pronounced (Kel-in)

ChaosMoon · 03/10/2018 12:42

Holly, not holy!

I've met a few December birthdays with winter/Christmas names

Hollie
Noel
Joseph
Winter
Rory
Bethel

I like all of them, Winter is the prettiest and the girl I know looks like winter as well, very pale with white blonde hair and pale blue eyes.

Don’t do it. They’ll hate you enough for giving them a Christmas birthday without having a themed name to match. Middle name if you must, but not first name!

^This. Christmas themed first name is ridiculous

Rudy
Caspar (was a wise man)
Silvester (new year in Germany if baby arrives late! Could use Suy as a nickname)
Ivy
Holly

Slappinthebass · 10/10/2018 00:19

Could use Sully as a nickname even.

Carol if it is a girl.
