Ritchie?

The name Richard has a significant meaning in my family. Tried to keep it in there but keep it a little more modern.

Thoughts please ☺️

I like it. I know. Richie which I think is better than Ritchie (just personal preference though!). He has an exceptionally cool surname though...

Shadow1234 · 19/09/2018 22:51

I also like it, lovely and modern, but not too 'out there'
Personally prefer it spelt 'Richie' as other poster suggested.

You will always get someone saying they dont like it, or its
a babyish name, but you cant please everyone, and he may
want to be called 'Rich' instead, as he gets older (so no
problems there).

Sophronia · 19/09/2018 23:08

Richie is a better spelling.

PinkAvocado · 20/09/2018 01:30

I like Richard and would shorten to Richie. I really quite like Rich!

Ahh thanks ladies. I actually really like the spelling 'Richie', for some reason hadn't even considered it. We don't know any Richie's either which is another bonus 💙

My nephew is Richie (Richard) after his dad, good name.
It really suits him as well. He's literally got it written all overhis face.

PinkAvocado · 20/09/2018 09:42

Surely we are due a revival of Richard, Christopher, Stephen, Matthew, Andrew etc

Lilly1207 · 20/09/2018 09:49

I really love the name 💙 can't wait until he's here 👶🏼 13 weeks to go!

My Sil's friend has just had a baby Richie to honour his grandfather Richard. I'm not really a fan

mondler · 20/09/2018 22:18

I like it Smile

Makes me think of the film Richie Rich with a very cute macaulay culkin in it. I also knew a Richie as a teenager that I had a huge crush on, he was a bit of a Jack the lad but was very funny and charming x
