Rosa, Mia, Lyla - I just can't decide.

Our surname is Jeansley and we're keen on something short, sweet and simple. Personally I want a name that isn't popular so they don't ever bump into too many people with the same name...

Also thinking of 'June' - classy, short and maybe not overused?

Mia is very bland and overused at the moment. Not keen on Lyla (prefer Lilah spelling if you must). June Jeansley is a bit too alliterative IMO.

Rosa is perfect. Smile

WerewolfNumber1 · 17/09/2018 10:20

Mia and Lila and other names that sound like that are very very popular.

Rosa is lovely and unusual :)

Sunflower321 · 17/09/2018 10:29

I agree - Mia, Lily,Lila etc are overused. Rosa is nice!

Elephantinacravat · 17/09/2018 10:30

June! June Jeansley is a great name, and made even cooler by the fact that June is a retro name.

Aprilshowersnowastorm · 17/09/2018 10:32

Rosa is great with your surname.
Others are overused imo.

Frosty66611 · 17/09/2018 10:32

Mia is my favourite out of the list but I think Rosa goes best with your surname. June is nice but really doesn’t work with Jeansley

teachergirl2011 · 17/09/2018 10:38

Lyla is horrid sounds like Lycra

daisypond · 17/09/2018 10:54

Rosa. Though I think Rose is nicer.

2doubles · 17/09/2018 11:33

Rosa is lovely.

PetraRabbit · 17/09/2018 11:34

Agree that Mia and all the Lila, Lyla type names are very overused. I think Rosa is a really, really good choice.

PetraRabbit · 17/09/2018 11:35

But June Jeansley is also very cool. I think Rosa is more classically pretty and June is more retro. Pick the one that feels most like your kind of name.

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 17/09/2018 11:36

Rosa June Jeansley. No contest. Strong namesakes (Parks, Luxemburg), beautiful elegant classic name that travels very well indeed, and much less likely to date than Mia and Lyla.

Shadow1234 · 17/09/2018 11:48

June jeansley (too much of a mouthful)
Mia (never know if its pronounced mee-ah or my-ah - but that may just
be me.

Rosa is a verry sweet and pretty name by far. Very girly as
well. Definitely my favourite on your list.

finallychangedmyusername · 17/09/2018 13:22

Rosa Jeansley is excelleny - sorry June doesn't really work with your surname IMO.

Rosa needs a middle name that doesn't end in an 'a' sound like Rosa, or an 'e' sound like Jeansley.

Suggestions:
Rosa Isobel Jeansley
Rosa Madeleine Jeansley
Rosa Abigail Jeansley
Rosa Millicent Jeansley

SuperstarDJ · 17/09/2018 13:37

Rosa is my favourite. Not keen on Mia or especially Lyla.

What about Joy? Joy Jeansley has a cool ring to it but I like alliterative names.

confusedandemployed · 17/09/2018 13:39

Rosa.

But I'm biased, DD is Rosa. The others area lot more common though tbf.

Frazzled2207 · 17/09/2018 13:45

Ross June Jeansley
Fab name

Frazzled2207 · 17/09/2018 13:46

Sorry Rosa June

Sophronia · 17/09/2018 15:14

I like June Jeansley. Rosa is nice too.

Sungura · 17/09/2018 17:54

I like Roz Jeansley better than Rosa. Sorry to be persnickety. Names like Melinda and Philippa go well with it since it's one syllable. If you do select Rosa, June makes a nice compliment to it.

fittedwardrobes · 17/09/2018 20:16

Rosa Jeansley is a great name!

MikeUniformMike · 17/09/2018 20:24

Mia is pretty but has been overused so is a bit Meh. Lyla is horrible and Rosa is lovely.

NCPuffin · 17/09/2018 20:28

DC1 Will be Rosa if a girl - go for it! Much nicer than Mia (there are soon many of those!)

HPLikecraft · 17/09/2018 21:49

Rosa is lovely. Mia is too common, and Lyla is like nothing on earth. Actually, I did know one once, but she was Lailagh.

Verbena87 · 17/09/2018 21:55

Rosa, by miles. Rosa June is strong and snappy.
