We've decided on our baby boys name but soon realised his initials will be DKK.

Can we get away with it or does it look too much like Dick?!?

I'd say you can defo get away with that, not like its DIK! I wouldn't have even thought that looking at DKK.

DancerOnIce · 16/09/2018 21:40

Would never have thought that. It’ll be fine

Passmethecrisps · 16/09/2018 21:40

Of course it will be fine. Anyone who makes a link to dick is one

EmmaC78 · 16/09/2018 21:41

Totally fine.

Shadow1234 · 16/09/2018 21:47

Yes you could get away with it. I cant remember when i last
Saw my 3 initials written down together!

SuperstarDJ · 17/09/2018 02:19

Completely fine.

Sungura · 17/09/2018 02:22

Yeah, I thought it was gonna spell a word. You're fine. 😄

Synecdoche · 17/09/2018 02:23

100% okay, would never have made that link (and I used to work with teenagers!)

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/09/2018 08:57

I think that's fine. DIK, not good ! 😄

BikeRunSki · 17/09/2018 09:00

It’s fine. As for seeing initials written together - most work days. It is very commonplace to use initials to indicate who is responsible for actions arising from meetings, on memos etc.

Bimgy85 · 17/09/2018 09:09

Of course. My initials are BJ. And I've never had a comment Grin

KnotsInMay · 17/09/2018 09:29

That’s quite a far fetched connection to make.

A non-existent issue.

CorianderSnell · 17/09/2018 09:31

DKK is Danish Krone I think

finallychangedmyusername · 17/09/2018 09:44

Yep I though of Danish Kroner too.

Ozgirl01 · 17/09/2018 09:54

Not a problem at all.

legocardsagain · 17/09/2018 10:19

Initials are often used in a work context, to note your comments in meetings and assign action points. If you share the same initials as someone else then your middle initial will be used. It's worth thinking about.
