Too matchy or works?

We are down to two choices for our DS ( due in a week ) but which is best with our DD????

Eva and Owen
Eva and Ethan

Help really required!!!
Plus any suggestions you would pick? Xxxxx

Owen is lovely. Ethan sounds too similar to Eva

Ethan is lovely but very matchy. I prefer Owen anyway, it's a gorgeous name. I'd probably spell it Eoin or Eoghan but I'm Irish and my children have Irish names. Seán is also lovely and is essentially the same name.

I think owen matches nicely, and like other poster said, Eva and Ethan
Are quite similar in sound.

Owen sounds more pleasant with your daughter's name for sure.

I just don't get 'Ethan'; I know it's fairly popular and it's a Biblical name but always makes me think of ethanol.

Owen is a great name- really solid and works well for a baby all the way to adulthood.

Another one here who doesn’t quite get Ethan’s popularity- it’s quite bleh to me.

Owen sounds lovely with Eva, although I am biased, it's my sons name only spelled Owain. Good strong name
