What are/were your Grandmothers called?

Following from the grandad thread because it’s fascinating.

I had a granny Jessie.
Nana Elizabeth & Nancy.
Great gran Cecilia & Bessie but I can’t temebe Bessie’s full name.

GMs - Brenda and Margot
GGMs - Agnes, Hilda, Edna and Ruth

Rose and Evelyn

Granny was Stella Theodora, but her aunts had the names
Lally Generosa
Marjory Hirsch....
Always wanted to use Hirsch.

Alice and Miriam (my side)
Anne and Mabel (DH's)

DC's: Penelope and Gwen

Oh, and the greats and their sibs were things like Eleanor, Helena, Isabel, Grace, Evelyn, May (how what comes round goes around)

Grandmas were Sarah and Alice great grandmas Harriet and Elsie.

Sarah’s sisters were Lilian, RUtah and Helia

Ruth not Rutah!

Elsie and Elizabeth Hastings (yes that was her middle name) and great grandmothers were Lucy and Winnie

Dorothy always called her full name and Gladys Annie always known as Kate.

Margaret and Pamela

Margery and Wilmot (Wilmot went by her second name which I think was Evelyn - she died in the 50s). The previous generation were Kathleen, Jessie and a lot of flower names, led by Lavinia.

Guess I should name change now.

Jeannie and Mary, also my great gran who’s was Nannette

Elizabeth (Betty) and Janie.

Audrey May born in the late 1930's and very much still with us.
Hazel (not sure on middle name) late 1920's or early 1930's, died when I was a baby.

Margaret is still alive and well and Grandad (sadly no longer with us) always called her Margot.

Margery was known as Marge by her siblings. I always thought it sounded like Margarine :D She was such an amazing lady. I miss her hugely.
