Help with boys name

DS1 aged 5 is called Louis, DS2 due next week. We had decided on the name George until Prince Louis came along (thought it would be too Royal to have a Louis and George in same house)
Shall I stick with George regardless? What are your thoughts x

Unfortunately, I think the royal connection is too strong. It’s not a bad connection, but it’s a connection that will be made for sure.

I would if you really like. People may comment they may not. Then again some may not even get on to it. However the comments would only ever be something along the lines of "Ooh that's very Royal"
or "Awwww like the little Princes" or "If your next one's a girl; you've got to call her Charlotte.
It wouldn't be anything malicious.

If you can cope with the Royalty comments for the rest of their days then go for it. The names are nice and go well together. If not then make George a middle name.

The alternative would be Alexander or Miles

Louis goes well with either name. They all have the same feel tbh so I’d pick one of the other two.

We are swaying towards Alexander but the nickname will probably be Xander.

I think Alexander is much better - it will just sound like you copied the royals.

Sorry but I agree with pp. Louis and George is far too well known as totals. Alexander is lovely and goes well with Louis x

My Louis was born before Prince George so it doesn't bother be about Prince George's middle names

I love Louis, and I would definitely call your new baby George, it's a good strong name. I much prefer it to your other choices.
