Kenny for short. Family name. What are your thoughts? Smile

Like it.

applesauce1 · 03/09/2018 16:34

Lamar (drank)

Flamingosnbears · 03/09/2018 16:52

It's a rapper name...

ladycarlotta · 03/09/2018 16:57

just because a rapper has it doesn't mean it's a 'rapper name'. Anyway, he just won a Pulitzer.

Sophronia · 03/09/2018 17:01

It’s ok. Kenny is quite cute as a nn.

percheron67 · 03/09/2018 17:01

Sounds like a partner in a building firm.

PotteringAlong · 03/09/2018 17:01

No.

5krunning · 03/09/2018 17:08

Lamar

MrsChollySawcutt · 03/09/2018 17:10

No. There's Kendrick's Kingdom soft play near me. Kendrick the mascot is a goofy looking rodent of some kind.

Yikesisthatmeinthemirror · 03/09/2018 17:13

Just use Kenny. I like that

SuperstarDJ · 03/09/2018 18:00

Kenny is cute as a nn. Not overly keen on Kendrick but it’s much better than Kenneth.

Enidblyton1 · 03/09/2018 18:02

I like it - and particularly like the family name connection

DesmondSwayne · 03/09/2018 20:06

First thought = Lamar

Second thought = Anna Kendrick from Pitch Perfect

Quangot · 03/09/2018 20:59

I don't like it at all, sorry.

RavenWings · 03/09/2018 21:33

Definitely screams rapper name atm. It's like naming a kid Britney in 2000.

ReginaPhalange89 · 03/09/2018 22:14

Don't like it, sorry ! Sounds like a surname to me.

RedDwarves · 03/09/2018 22:36

Lamar.

Or Johnson. The boy who died after getting stuck in a gym mat. Popularly discussed case among true crime enthusiasts.

WhyIsntGeorgeCalledPeterOrPaul · 04/09/2018 00:23

Except Kendrick Lamar is a respectable artist.

And for that reason, I like it, OP!

Monday55 · 04/09/2018 00:41

Some names like Kenny sound cute for a baby/kid but are hideous when grown up. I can't picture a CEO or manager called Kenny, I won't even take them serious.

Kenny also reminds me of South park

Quangot · 04/09/2018 01:12

Kenny Everett. Yuck.

MrsTerryPratchett · 04/09/2018 01:17

Cute. However, it does rather depend on the last name. If it's very long and/or fancy, it might be a little much.

Kendrick Smith would be lovely. Kendrick Arsington-Smythe, less so.

moredoll · 04/09/2018 02:12

I sort of like it -think it might grow on me.

OutPinked · 04/09/2018 15:58

Would likely be shortened to Ken as he got older which of course would lead people to believe he was Kenneth. Definitely not as cool as Kendrick...
