I seem to favour makes beginning with H. Not intentionally!

I love Hamish but we have no Scottish connections so think it might be a bit odd?

Love Harry but I know so many so we have ruled that one out.

Love Humphrey but DH hates it.

Suggestions welcome!

I too love Hamish and am not Scottish. I don’t think it would be odd to use (and am still a smidgen miffed that Dh wouldn’t let me use it for ds Grin).

I think Hamish is fine if you're not Scottish

In the Just William books by Richmal Crompton, William's enemy was called Hamish and he definitely wasn't Scottish - they were all southern English.

I like Hamish and I don't think you need a Scottish connection, but lots of people would ask if you did.
