Help with middle name

So we’re decided on a name for our boy due next month. The first name is non negotiable, I know I’ve read lots of people on here aren’t keen on it as it isn’t a ‘proper’ name, but it’s got family connections and we both really like it. He’ll be Archie.

Which is better:
Archie William
Archie Frederick
Archie Alexander
Archie Thomas

Archie William

JupiterDrops · 01/09/2018 09:49

I think Alexander is probably the best out of them.

No name is wetter than Thomas!

MaryBoBary · 01/09/2018 09:49

I like Archie Alexander best too

PasstheStarmix · 01/09/2018 09:54

I don’t like Archie Alexander because I don’t like alliterative names, the Double A sound doesnt flow.
I think it also depends on your surname but the name I like is Archie Thomas without a doubt. It flows well and has a nice ring to it. I don’t like any of the others.

PasstheStarmix · 01/09/2018 09:56

I don’t like William or Frederick because I think it’s maybe they’re three syllable sound that makes the name sound like a mouth full and not slow of the tongue. Thomas is a nice two syllable and seems to flow better off the tongue with Archie.

Have you considered Archie James?

Grammar · 01/09/2018 10:08

I like the lyricism of Archie Alexander. There's a melody to the alliteration. I think it does flow

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 01/09/2018 10:16

William

Deliphant · 01/09/2018 10:34

Alexander - because then he can be AA Something and that sounds quite sophisticated.

Quangot · 01/09/2018 10:42

William

ReginaPhalange89 · 01/09/2018 17:53

I like Archie Thomas

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/09/2018 21:12

Archie William.

MikeUniformMike · 01/09/2018 21:47

I don't like Archie.

ProseccoPoppy · 01/09/2018 21:51

I disagree JupiterDrops - Timothy is definitely wetter than Thomas.

OP - I like William as a middle name. Or maybe James? James is a nice solid name.

helpmum2003 · 01/09/2018 22:13

William or Thomas.

Love Archie!

moredoll · 01/09/2018 23:40

Archie Alexander. I don't think the others flow.

PasstheStarmix · 02/09/2018 13:37

Archie James is the nicest
