Nay but I'm in Essex where it is very common.

BluthsFrozenBananas · 29/08/2018 09:31

I like it for a girl as a nickname for Veronica, but I dislike it as a stand-alone name for a boy.

OutPinked · 29/08/2018 09:45

Nah. I dislike shortened names as first names.

Cbeebiesrehab · 29/08/2018 09:46

I have a serious dislike for it sorry. Maybe it’s because it just reminds me of gangsters?

NotTheWayISeeIt · 29/08/2018 10:12

Nay, nay and trice nay

Ronnie Kray.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/08/2018 10:50

FishCanFly · 31/08/2018 15:22

Nice, but please put Ronald as full name

Shadow1234 · 08/09/2018 18:23

Yes, Ronnie is a lovely name. I also like the alfie and archie names.

I know a few girls called ronnie as well - so very unisex these days

OliveBranchManager · 08/09/2018 18:24

Second thought - yeh it's ok

Nice. Also like Rex

BigBlueBubble · 08/09/2018 19:07

Not as a name by itself. It’s short for Ronald or Roland. Tbh I’m not keen on those names either!
