What's your honest opinion on the name Zelda ?

I'm a gamer but that's not the reason I like the name Zelda. I just like how it sounds so at first I didn't think of the games but I don't know if it would sound silly in the long run to name a child Zelda just because of the video game relation hmm...

Really like the sound of Zelda Rose or Zelda Grace. What do you think?

Do you know a Zelda? Would you find it funny a gamer naming their child Zelda and do you think Zelda sounds ok for an adult name?

I love it and it was one of the final two names we had for my daughter. We ultimately went with the other one but I still love it. We tried it out in the hospital for a day and were unanimously told it was 'ok but too grown up for a baby' by the staff there. I wish I had ignored them!

I love it and my first thought is Zelda Fitzgerald. You should all know that the character in the game is named after Zelda Fitzgerald. Smile

I would have used it for one of my own DDs but sadly Pet Sematary ruined that for me. If you have not seen it then don’t or it may well ruin the name for you too.

I like it, i think Z or Zee would be a cute nickname. It mainly reminds me of zelda from sabrina the teenage witch

Zelda Rose sounds much better and cooler than Zelda Grace in my opinion.

Grace is, in my opinion, a bit of a sweet, slightly weak name, especially as a middle name, whereas Zelda most definitely isn't, so they don't really go well together in my opinion.

Zelda Rose sounds a bit edgier to me!
