What are/were your Grandads called?

My granddads were called Geoffrey James and Ian and great grandad Stanley.

Great grandfathers - I'm ashamed to say I don't know! Blush We are exceedingly slow at procreating in our family so my great grandparents were long long long gone by the time I came along (GPs were already well into their 80s).

Frederick and Alan. The more I see the first on this thread the more I like it. About time it made a resurgence - it doesn't feel like an old man name any more (my Grandad Fred died in the early 70's - he would have been in his late 90's if he'd survived until now)
