Great grandfathers - I'm ashamed to say I don't know! We are exceedingly slow at procreating in our family so my great grandparents were long long long gone by the time I came along (GPs were already well into their 80s).

Great grandfather was William.

Robert Luke, but got Robin and then Bob, and Thomas.

Fred and Eifion. We called ds Eifion.

He hated Eifion and called himself Eric though.

Bernard and Richard. Dp's are John and John

Leonard Harold and Albert

Frederick and Alan. The more I see the first on this thread the more I like it. About time it made a resurgence - it doesn't feel like an old man name any more (my Grandad Fred died in the early 70's - he would have been in his late 90's if he'd survived until now)
