My DS is William, if I had another he’d be Joseph Stanley. I love all their names - it’s a nice coincidence that they would be tributes.

Paternal grandad was Eric which wasn't actually his first name but his middle name.
His first name was Robert.

I remember going to his retirement and all of these people calling him "Bob" and I was thinking " who the fuck is Bob?!" And panicked I was in the wrong function room.

Both of them were Arthur. My paternal GD went by 'Arch' as a nn.

Both of them had their middle names as their fathers name...a tradition I'm going to carry on with my son.
