We are due a baby boy in november, we are going to call him Dylan, but are unsure of a middle name. I quite like Henry or Noah, but wonder about saving them for first names in case we have another child one day.

Also, i want to call him Dill/ Dyl for short, what do you think is the best way to spell it? I like Dill (as in rugrats) but partner thinks it should be Dyl

Dylan Henry sounds better in my opinion.

I'd say Dill

All him Dillan/Dillon and then shorten it to Dill?

FWIW the correct (Welsh) pronunciation of Dylan is "Dullan" so Dill wouldn't be an appropriate nn.

Dylan James and Dylan Arthur are quite nice

Also, didn't know that about the welsh pronunciation!
