Edward or William?

Btw we have a William, always Will, not bill or billy and doesn't get teased with willy either.

I prefer the name William (nn Will or Billy) but in your case would go with Edward because of the Robbie Williams association.

I like both. William (with Will for short) is my favourite though as I feel like I’m constantly meeting Teddy short for Edwards at the moment.

I know loads of Edwards, only one William. I’d go for the lesser used name.

Edward/Ed is a rather downmarket name when older though. Sounds like a person who doesn’t wash enough!

Well Prince Edward is further away from the crown in the line of succession than Prince William, if that is what you mean by downmarket!

Not keen on Edison, I’m afraid. I like pretty traditional names.

I do like Benjamin and Alexander too.

I slightly prefer William, both on its own and paired with Robert.
