Help! Baby girl name

All the way through the pregnancy we've been calling her Willow, which we both love.
My only concern is that her brother and sister have 'proper' names, although not super traditional.
I also worry that Willow might be a bit faddy and date very quickly.
So far the alternatives I can think of are:
Arrabella
Winona (Winnnie)
Beatrix
Thoughts?
Husband not massively keen on them so any ideas welcome!

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘proper’ names? Are we talking Jack and Emily or more like Delilah and Dexter?

Purpleguppy · 22/08/2018 14:56

More like Delilah and Dexter Smile

Then I don’t think Willow will be a problem! If it was a top 10 name I probably wouldn’t but Willow isn’t that ‘out there’ imo so will go with a lot of names and is very pretty :)

userabcname · 22/08/2018 15:06

I like Willow. I don't think it's faddy.

TroubledLichen · 22/08/2018 15:08

I’m not massively keen on Willow but I don’t think it’s faddy or will date. If you both love it then use it!

I like Arabella and Beatrix too though, although I prefer Beatrice to Beatrix.

I think Willow is a lovely name that wont be a fad or assosiated with any particular time. Personally Willow makes me think of Buffy the vampire slayer which I love x

rainbowstardrops · 22/08/2018 15:16

Willow is a lovely name

ZebraKid71 · 22/08/2018 15:22

I honestly think it will date, all the willows I know - four of them, but aware of others in our area - are aged between 0-3.

I think it is quite faddy, but it's also a lovely name so it may stick around a lot longer.

Quangot · 22/08/2018 15:49

Willow is a lovely name, stick with it. Names do date, but why does it matter? It gives a clue as to what your birth decade might be, that's all.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/08/2018 18:18

Willow is a beautiful name, stick with it.👍🏻

I know 3 willows. 16,11 and 6. It’s one of those names that has increased in popularity over the last few years but still not top 10. Go with it if that’s what you love.

bridgetreilly · 22/08/2018 18:25

Willow's not my favourite, but it's a perfectly good name and since you both clearly love it, you should use it!

Lilsquish · 22/08/2018 19:00

I like Willow.

it's not common but not silly either. don't think it would date x

Glumglowworm · 22/08/2018 19:22

I prefer Willow to the other names on your list, it’s a lovely name

Petalflowers · 22/08/2018 19:29
