Which name out of these four would you go for to go with Smith? Im torn with going with something unusual given the plain last name or sticking with something traditional.

Name with the most votes wins!

Thanks in advance!

But go for whatever your gut is telling you because it's your baby and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!
Congratulations Flowers

Ditte is Danish and my grandma's name. English version is Dorothy. Liberty does sound american although generally an old latin/french name. We are english lol x

I like Georgia. Classic.

redexpat · 21/08/2018 16:32

I really dont like danish girl names. Many end in uh. I think they all sound like mud. Dit-uh, Mett-uh, Nynn-uh. Apologies to any Danes on the thread. I like lots of other things about Denmark and danish but not names.

Vivien
Georgia
Ditte
Liberty

In that order. Love Vivien.

toomanyeastereggsurghh · 21/08/2018 16:53

Love Liberty nn Libby - such a pretty name
Like Georgia nn Georgie or Gigi very cute
Not that keen on Ditte - also not sure how to pronounce it
Hate Vivien - personally I think it’s an ugly name

SuperstarDJ · 21/08/2018 17:50

I order of preference

Liberty
Vivienne

Georgia
Ditte

SJane45S · 21/08/2018 17:58

I like Ditte - it's got a personal connection to you as well.I always wanted to call my kids something a bit different as I've got one of the most common names & there were loads of us at school. I loved Georgia & thought it was unusual & different - turned out 24 years ago lots of other people thought exactly the same & my 24 year old DD was one of three Georgia's in her class! Liberty & Vivienne i don't much like if I'm honest!

kenandbarbie · 21/08/2018 18:30

Vivien but isn't it Vivienne

Harebellmeadow · 21/08/2018 19:26

Oops. Ignore my ignorance - Ditte is a real name and is thus actually delicate and nice sounding. Apologies 🤦🏻‍♀️ And it means something to you. I think of Tante Deete from Heidi too. So it must be a similar name root.

daisypond · 21/08/2018 19:29

I like Vivien and Liberty. Ditte I don't know, but it's clearly a foreign name and is fine. I really dislike Georgia.

userabcname · 21/08/2018 19:38

Georgia or Vivien

OutPinked · 21/08/2018 19:57

Vivian. I don’t like any of the others. The only Georgia’s I’ve met have been awful people.

bridgetreilly · 21/08/2018 20:00

I'd call her Dorothy nn Ditte, personally.

firsttime17 · 21/08/2018 20:36

Liberty is a lovely girls name x

CarbieDoll · 21/08/2018 20:38

Georgia beautiful classic name

Failingat40 · 21/08/2018 21:12

Georgia by a mile.

Vivien looks odd spelt like that, looks unfinished imo. I dislike the name anyway but mildly prefer its original spelling of Vivian.

MikeUniformMike · 21/08/2018 21:19

Ditte would be cool as a mn. CZJ's middle name Zeta was her DGM's first name. Georgia Ditte Smith.

C0untDucku1a · 21/08/2018 21:20

Vivien.

CarbieDoll · 21/08/2018 21:34

Yy to Georgia Ditte Smith that looks fab

DramaAlpaca · 21/08/2018 22:29

I like Vivien or Vivienne best. I'm not fond of Liberty, though I like Libby very much. I really dislike Georgia, but I adore Georgina.

Ditte would be a perfect middle name.

Zebrasinpyjamas · 21/08/2018 22:32

Liberty or Georgia would get my vote.

Theworldisfullofgs · 21/08/2018 22:34

Vivienne Georgia Smith

fitflopqueen · 21/08/2018 22:37

Georgia
