To go with Freddie Smile can't decide. Any other 'D' name suggestions too please.

I like Darcy. Other D suggestions;
Diana
Danielle
Delilah
Demi
Dana
Daya

I like it spelt both ways. Probably do prefer Darcy actually. Smile

I quite like Delilah, but still not as much as Daisy and Darcy. What do you think of Dotty as a stand alone name?

Bubbletastic · 19/08/2018 21:24

Daisy definitely x

Mum2jenny · 19/08/2018 21:25

Dorothy, nickname Dotty.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/08/2018 21:30

Daisy. It's nice with Freddie. Alice and Harriet would be good too.

Peachbubble · 19/08/2018 21:37

Daisy

DramaAlpaca · 19/08/2018 21:58

Of the two, Daisy.

Quangot · 19/08/2018 22:00

I like both Daisy and Darcy. I think Darcy goes better with Freddie.

Dottie is a bit too cutesy as a stand-alone name IMO. I like Dorothy though.

Diana
Delphine
Daphne
Della
Delilah
Delta
Dulcie
Delia
Deborah
Dominique
Demi
Dora
Daniella
Dionne
Davina
Dakota
Demelza

Daisy is a nickname. I think it can be sweet for a little girl but ideally she needs a full grown up name too.

sexnotgender · 19/08/2018 22:02

Not a fan of either but if it must be one of those two then Daisy.

babyshark1 · 19/08/2018 22:20

Thanks for the suggestions. I think most names beginning with D for girls are a bit out dated. I quite like Dora and Dakota.

What do you think of Dolly? Or is that far too cutesiBlush

Thistles24 · 19/08/2018 22:26

I can honestly say that as an adult with a career I’d hate to be called Dolly or Dotty. Even Daisy is pushing it, to be honest. I actually know LOADS of adult (mainly 50+) Dolly’s, but it’s short for Dolina (pronounced either Doll - eye-na or Doll-Eena) which used to be fairly common here but is never used now.

Sophronia · 19/08/2018 22:40

Daisy. Don’t like Darcey at all,

mammmamia · 19/08/2018 22:46

I really like Darcy.

Daisy is nice too but - here’s a suggestion. It is traditionally short for Margaret or the French Marguerite which I love. You could have one of those on the BC and call her Daisy as a nn.

DollyDayScream · 19/08/2018 22:53

Dora and Freddie sounds like a lovely pairing.

I know quite a few Daisys and Darceys.

Jokat · 19/08/2018 22:59

I think Daisy does not work well for a grown-up, it is too cute-sy. Darcy works well for a little girl AND a to-be-taken-seriously woman.

wildewillow · 19/08/2018 23:00

Recently heard the name Delphi and thought it was quite sweet.

babyshark1 · 19/08/2018 23:07

Oh I actually really like Delphi! Was it short for somethings or a stand alone name PP?

OP posts:
Shambu · 19/08/2018 23:09

Delphi is a place in Greece. It's where the oracles operated.

Discobabe98 · 19/08/2018 23:14

I think I prefer Daisy to Darcey but both are nice Smile Do you like Dulcie?

Goostacean · 19/08/2018 23:15

Of the two, Darcy- Daisy is too cutesy for a grown up, IMO. Delphi is stunning- the place itself is incredible. Could be short for Delphine? (French for dolphin, I believe?)

wildewillow · 20/08/2018 00:09

Babyshark1 - it was a stand alone name but as PP said it could be short for Delphine which is beautiful!

moredoll · 20/08/2018 00:46

Delphi

gonnabreakmyrustycage · 20/08/2018 00:54

I love and prefer Darcy just because D’Arcy Wretzky was so cool in the 90s - I even like her spelling too.

Daisy or Darcey?
GreenTulips · 20/08/2018 00:59

I like Darcie and Dolci and Delphine

What about Dana Darby Davina Deana (I always wanted to be called Deana)
