Roo names

What are your thoughts on the following and how many do you know?

Rupert
Rufus
Reuben

All lovely, especially Reuben

I like Rufus best, don't know any of them. I know one child Reuben and one adult Rupert (a bit of a "character'!).

I like Rupert best. Don't know any personally but Reuben and Rufus seem fairly popular on mumsnet from what I've seen x

Ruri, ruaridh for the proper spelling are nicer

Rufus is my favourite. Then Reuben.

We very nearly called 5 day old ds reuben! I love the name.

The girl who lived opposite us when I was little was called Roo. I think her real name was Rachel.
Anyway, I like Rufus best of your list and don’t know anyone with any of those names.

If you're after a Roo name I really like Ruairidh

I know two Ruperts and one each of the others. To be honest I don’t like any of them (the names, not the children).

I love Rudy though.

I love Rufus, but we've had some bad reactions to it.

Rupert - 2, 45 ish and 5ish. Both very posh.
Rufus - none
Reuben/Ruben - 5 or 6. 50 ish and under 10.
Ruraidh - 1, 55ish.

I know 2 Ruperts (20, 42) and 1 Rufus (3).

I like Rufus best! But then I do like Roman names.

Rupert is a little bit head boy at school assembly for me, but it is classic.
I like Reuben the best probably, although it is a type of sandwich in the States. Not sure that matters though

Rupert is a bit wet and Rufus is a bit posh for me. I quite like Reuben but you could also go for kangaroo?

I love Rufus but don't like Reuben, Reuben is v popular where I am.

Rupert is a bit meh.

I can't stand Rupert but I like the other two. Also came across a Rudy recently which is quite cute, although I'm not sure it will suit him so well when he's 50.
