Hey! My son's name is Sandy, and he celebrated his 17th birthday in March, and while this was never an issue before, suddenly a few of his classmates (aside from his close friends and those not causing trouble) are giving him a hard time about his name. Any advice? I almost feel guilty for calling him Sandy instead of Alexander for most of his life :/
Thanks.

What does he want to do about it?

What are they saying about his name? I don't see what is absurd about it.

He's seventeen so I'm assuming they're similarly aged, tell him he's free to tell them to fuck off and grow up and you wouldn't even mind the bad language

There's always something that bullies are gonna focus on so don't feel too bad. Sandy is a nice name and if your son likes it that's all that matters x
