Finally...we think we've agreed to name our little girl Zinnia. We both love it and I appreciate you may not but it's been a bumpy road getting here so please don't put me off! We were going with either Francesca (family tribute name) or Vera ( my first favourite) but both sound dreadful with Zinnia and for reasons I won't go into we have no wish to give tribute to other family members! Zinnia Frances is a possibility. Any other suggestions please?

Zinnia Frances is great. Don't let anyone put you off. And don't tell your family before she arrives either!

You could just not give a middle name. I personally think they are only useful if them mean something. They rarely get used so I don't see the point otherwise

I actually think any of them will work fine.

If you're after names that flow really well, the you want either a single syllable mn to counter balance the length of Zinnia, e.g. Claire, Joy, Jean, Jane, etc, or a name where the second syllable is stressed e.g Francine, Celeste, Colette.

Or anything else tbh

Although I'm not personally a fan of middle names so Zinnia is nice on its own too. Me, oh and the two kids don't have middle names !
