Hi all,

Really struggling with a boys name. Lots of girls names that we love but we’re having a boy and struggling to agree or even find boys names we love. Think we’ve narrowed it down to Andrew as a first name. Thoughts on this and a middle name please?

So far we have..
Andrew Christoper
Andrew Mark
Andrew Rohan
Andrew James

Thanks!

I think Andrew James is really lovely.

Andrew Christopher would be my second choice.

LoveInTokyo · 26/07/2018 20:25

Lovely name.

I think it sounds good with a one syllable middle name so would go for Mark or James.

Carolwithane · 26/07/2018 20:27

Andrew James definitely

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/07/2018 20:51

James is so common as a middle name, it's quite dull now. I vote Andrew Rohan.

Disfordarkchocolate · 26/07/2018 21:09

I like them all but Andrew James and Andrew Christopher are my favourites. Andrew is a great name.

BendingSpoons · 26/07/2018 21:09

How many syllables is your surname?

BearCubX · 26/07/2018 21:11

Agree with the PP that James is incredibly dull. Especially with a very regular, common name like Andrew you could easily get away with something more interesting.

Nanasueathome · 26/07/2018 21:13

My eldest child is Andrew James
Lovely
He’s 42 now and still known as Andrew..even by his friends

kaylanelson · 26/07/2018 21:45

Andrew James 💙

LapinR0se · 26/07/2018 21:46

Andrew Philip

Thanks everyone. Surname is two syllables. I was leaning towards James too. I don’t mind them both being traditional less exciting names so that doesn’t bother me 😀 I know it’s not to everyone’s taste though!

ParkheadParadise · 27/07/2018 09:46

Andrew James

Scotstar · 27/07/2018 09:47

Be prepared for folk thinking he can be called Andy. I'm fed strict on that he isn't! I appreciate he might want that when he's older but he's little now so my choice lol.

Unless of course you like Andy then it's a non issue!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 27/07/2018 09:53

He could also be Drew or AJ.

TweedAddict · 27/07/2018 09:55

Or Rew, as I know many Andrews shortened too.

I know 3 Andrew Marks

Scotstar · 27/07/2018 09:58

My son is mostly Andrew but sometimes gets AJ or drew. Or even drewbear! Lol
