Maybe ask to get this moved to Chat or the Pregnancy board- you’ll get more responses!

I took a notion at 39 weeks and decided to get some taken of DD when she was two weeks old. It was £150 for ten pictures and I’m glad I did it- there were some lovely close up pictures which captured her pouty newborn lips and the peely-skin on her hands and newborn fuzz in a way an iPhone is never going to pick up.

I found it v easy to find someone- I just googled and looked on Facebook for ratings and examples of their work. One thing I would say is that there is a HUGE gulf in pricing- I went with a Mum who worked out of her suburban house while the kids were at school, but the professional studio had rates starting at £400 for a package full of stuff I didn’t want.
