I've recently seen this unusual name. I'm not usually one for unusual names but this one means ' you will always be loved' and I thought etzi was a cute nickname...

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Wasn't it a game many moons ago??

Wolfiefan · 18/07/2018 16:47

Yahtze was the game. I wouldn't.

Not all baby name sites area accurate - the one that gives the meaning mentioned by OP attributes the name to a language which does not use the letter 'r'. So that can't be right, and strongly suggests that the meaning is not right, either:www.behindthename.com/name/yaretzi/submitted

If you follow the links suggested on the above-mentioned site, you get to 'Yara' or 'Iara', which is from an indigenous language in Brazil and may mean 'water-nymph'. Yaretzi might perhaps be a version of that.

Not keen, but I quite like the app's suggestion of Yara

ViserionTheDragon · 18/07/2018 18:21

It's just too out there and very try hard. I wouldn't either.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 18/07/2018 18:22

I'm just seeing Yeti...

Imhertwopennyprince · 18/07/2018 18:23

No!

Hideous. And the Etzi nickname sounds like Etsy, the online shop.
