What do you think?

Nice & not over used!

RedDwarves · 15/07/2018 22:52

I don't think it flows well. The "ra" in Zara clashes with Rose.

But individually, I like both names.

SmilingButClueless · 15/07/2018 22:52

I like it Smile

Rainbowtrees · 15/07/2018 22:53

Sounds like a perfume to me.

NannyR · 15/07/2018 22:55

Two lovely names and they look nice written down too. I agree that the R sounds don't flow that well but how often do you actually say the middle name out loud?

Pixilicious · 15/07/2018 23:04

Lovely

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/07/2018 23:06

Too many R sounds

mothertobe789 · 15/07/2018 23:11

I would consider chaning the middle name, but love Zara as first name. Any opinions on what sounds nice as middle name to go with Zara?

OP posts:
WhereIsMyDog · 15/07/2018 23:13

Zara Louise
Zara Penelope

Muddlingalongalone · 15/07/2018 23:19

I love Zara - not hugely keen on Rose as a middle name with it but think 1 syllable works well.
Not a name I think I've ever suggested before but what about Jane??

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/07/2018 23:20

Zara Jasmine
Zara Lily
Zara Daisy
Zara Maude
Zara Nicole
Zara Penelope
Zara Faith
Zara Madison
Zara Jade
Zara Jean
Zara Dawn
Zara Willow
Zara Blythe

Cauliflowershower · 15/07/2018 23:25

I thought exactly the same a previous posters-looks very pretty written down but the ra-ro in the middle doesn’t work for me.
Zara Grace
Zara Jane
Zara May
Zara Victoria

RavenWings · 16/07/2018 00:47

Zara is beautiful. I agree with changing Rose, it's a very filler middle name.

Zara Madeleine
Zara Camille
Zara Anneliese
Zara Lucille
Zara Kate
Zara Evangeline
Zara Imogen
Zara Adalind/Adelaide
Zara Michelle
Zara Gabrielle
Zara Honor
Zara Renee

In general I'd go for a middle name that doesn't end in a, and possibly is a longer name (though you can see I put in some short suggestions).

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/07/2018 08:54

Zara Jasmine is beautiful, as suggested above.

SleepingStandingUp · 16/07/2018 08:56

I like Zara Rose, also Zara May, Zara Grace, Zara Jane.
I think the longer middle names swallow it up

bridgetreilly · 16/07/2018 09:01

Zara Imogen is lovely.

Also:
Zara Isabel
Zara Madeleine
Zara Penelope
Zara Caroline

Ginandplatonic · 16/07/2018 09:08

I like it. The ra-ro thing isn't as issue to me - as a pp said you don't say your names together very often at all, far more often they are written.

MikeUniformMike · 16/07/2018 14:32

Rose is overused as a middle name, but it's OK otherwise.
Rose/May/Grace are overused.
In my age group everyone seemed to have Jane/Anne/Louise as a middle name.
I would pick a different middle name.

Pudding01 · 16/07/2018 15:01

I have an Erin Rose, so I disagree with it having too many Rs 🙂 it's very pretty x

Cauliflowershower · 16/07/2018 18:04

It’s not that it’s too many rs-it’s the way the ra and the ro kind of merge together unless you pronounce them carefully separately.
Sam with any middle names starting with a vowel-eg Zara Anne becomes Zara ran unless you have good diction
Erin rose js beautiful

Pudding01 · 16/07/2018 18:09

Makes sense @Cauliflowershower. Unless you say it slow, it almost sounds slurry (is that a word?! 😂)
And thank you 💕 Was our compromise name from Emilia, but it suits her perfectly x

Royallypissedoff1 · 16/07/2018 23:34

Sounds like a perfume to me too!
A PP beat me to it!

BackforGood · 16/07/2018 23:37

I think it is lovely. Lets be honest, you only say the middle name outloud when you announce the birth, at a Christening (if you have one) and at your wedding (if you have one, and if you use traditional wording).

unadventuretime · 17/07/2018 08:33

Zara is beautiful, though it's also a shop...

GetToFuck · 17/07/2018 08:36

Rose is to now as Louise was to the 80s/90s. So dull, so common.

Like Zara.
