Finley and Riley - too similar?

Dh and I are expecting baby boy number 2 in November. Our first is called Finley and this was the ONLY name dh and I could agree on.

We’ve discussed probably every boys name on the planet and all the ones I like he hates and vice versa. We both quite like Riley but would that be ridiculous with Finley as they both end in -ley?

If you call Finlay Fin, it would be ok I think.

I know a set of brothers called Finely and Riley and I think they go together really well.

I think they work together really well. Both lovely names.

Actually, I’ve thought about it, it’s fine.

I've got a Stanley and I'm expecting DS2. We have 2 names for him but one of them is Sidney. I'll probably go for it and I think yours are fine too.

Obviously we could pick other names but if these are the names we love then I don't see a problem.

I just to know of twins called Natalie and Natasha!

Thanks everyone. I liked the name
Riley and it has really grown on me even more recently and given that it’s the only name we currently agree on I’m glad the general consensus is that it would be ok with Finley!
