For a middle name to Rose, Julia is my mum's name but I think Juliana sounds better

Julia all the way. Lovely make.
Juliana rose sounds a mouthful

bigglewig · 05/07/2018 19:47

They are both pretty and go with Rose. Sorry for being ignorant but is Juliana pronounced juli-ar-na or Juli-ana?!

DramaAlpaca · 05/07/2018 19:50

Both lovely names. I think you should go for whichever flows better with the surname, but I do prefer Rose Juliana.

purplemunkey · 05/07/2018 19:51

I prefer Juliana but if its to honour your mum I'd use her actual name, Julia. Middle names are never used anyway.

LoveInTokyo · 05/07/2018 20:14

Julia

SwedishEdith · 05/07/2018 20:51

Julia.

ArfArfBarf · 05/07/2018 20:56

Julia!

Julia Rose is beautiful and balanced

lolalotta · 05/07/2018 20:56

Julia, beautiful!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 05/07/2018 21:21

Julia Rose.

LucyFox · 05/07/2018 21:26

Rose Julia or Rose Juliana don’t really flow (though you won’t often use a middle name) but Julia Rose is lovely :)

Simpleee · 05/07/2018 21:28

I know but I don't know many middle names that flow and it's to honour my mum.

Juliana Rose flows better.
Also you could put Juliana on the bc, but call her Julia day-to-day. I think giving her the longer name gives the name more versatility.

TatianaLarina · 06/07/2018 09:42

Juliana by miles. Much nicer and more unusual.

Julia is just tedious.

People here are very conservative so I wouldn’t ask their opinion.

DeckSofa · 06/07/2018 10:07

Juliana as middle name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 06/07/2018 10:36

Julia Rose, beautiful !

Marcipex · 06/07/2018 12:29

Julia, lovely and classic. Juliana is a bit of a mouthful tbh.

Juliet would work even better tho.

daisypond · 06/07/2018 13:25

I like them both. I think Juliana goes better alongside the simplicity of Rose.

OwlBeThere · 06/07/2018 13:27

I like Rose Juliana, or maybe Rose Juliet?

WhereIsBlueRabbit · 06/07/2018 13:29

I'd go for Julia Rose as it flows better, but use Rose on a daily basis.

MikeUniformMike · 06/07/2018 13:34

Julia
Juliana is a bit try hard.
FWIW Julianne Moore was born Julie Anne More.

MikeUniformMike · 06/07/2018 13:34

Moore not More

hungryhippie · 06/07/2018 13:36

Both nice. Choose your Mums name, Julia Rose.
